# /master pvp: Manage PVP Matches and the Tournament

> Use /master pvp subcommands to start matches, check combat status, trigger end credits, and stop the PVP tournament during a Crystal Legacy event.

The `/master pvp` command group gives operators control over the single-elimination PVP tournament during the PVP phase. Use these commands to start individual matches, check combat status, trigger the end-credits sequence, or halt the tournament if something goes wrong.

## Subcommands

| Command | Description |
| - | - |
| `/master pvp creditos` | Starts the end credits: centers cameras on bracket screen, hides HUD, plays credits music. |
| `/master pvp start ;playerA; ;playerB;` | Enables PVP combat between exactly these two players (does not teleport them). |
| `/master pvp status` | Returns current PVP combat status — whether two players currently have PVP enabled. |
| `/master pvp stop` | Stops both the tournament and PVP combat. Also affects tournament state. |

## Examples

```bash theme={null}
# Check if PVP is currently active between players
/master pvp status
# Manually enable PVP between two specific players
/master pvp start Steve Alex
# Trigger the credits sequence at event end
/master pvp creditos
# Stop the tournament (use with caution)
/master pvp stop
```

## PVP Activation

> [!NOTE]
>
> By design, players cannot damage each other anywhere in the event unless the server has automatically enabled it for a tournament match, or an operator has used `/master pvp start`. This prevents accidental combat outside of scheduled matches.

## Stopping the Tournament

> [!WARNING]
>
> `/master pvp stop` intentionally also stops the tournament — it is not intended for use during a normal event run. Only use this command if you need to abort the PVP phase entirely, as it will disrupt the bracket and cannot be undone without resetting tournament state.

## Debug Commands

> [!WARNING]
>
> `torneodebug`, `torneokill`, and `torneokillall` are internal debug commands for creator use only. They have undocumented behavior and must not be used in production events. Running them during a live event may produce irreversible side effects on tournament state.
