# Crystal Legacy Music: Custom Soundtrack and Phase Playlists

> Crystal Legacy has a fully custom soundtrack with auto-playlists per phase. Adjust volume via the Music slider or use admin BGM commands to manage tracks.

Crystal Legacy ships with a fully custom soundtrack — from the title screen you see before joining to the music that plays during every stage of the event. None of the music is Minecraft's default audio; every track was curated specifically for the Crystal Legacy experience. Music automatically transitions as the event moves through its phases, keeping the atmosphere matched to whatever is happening in the game.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Music is purely client-side presentation. Adjusting your volume or stopping playback does not affect gameplay, event state, or any other player's experience.

## Phase Music

Each active event phase automatically starts its own curated playlist when it is triggered. The phases that play music are:

| Phase | Music Triggered? |
| - | - |
| TUTORIAL | Yes |
| MINI\_EVENTS | Yes |
| PVP | Yes |
| WAITING\_PLAYERS | No |
| DEV | No |

When a phase transitions, the previous phase's music stops and the new phase's playlist begins automatically — no action required from players or operators.

## Volume Control

You control music volume through the standard Minecraft audio settings. Navigate to **Options → Music & Sounds → Music** and adjust the **Music** slider to your preferred level. Turning it to zero mutes all in-event music entirely without affecting other sound effects.

## Admin Music Commands

Operators can manage music playback directly using the following commands:

```bash theme={null}
/master bgm stop
```

Stops the currently playing track immediately.

```bash theme={null}
/master bgm play ;song;
```

Plays a specific track by name. Replace `;song;` with the name of the track you want to start. This is useful for testing audio, cueing a specific song for a dramatic moment, or restarting a track that was interrupted.
