/master subcommand performs a permission check at the start, and non-OP players receive an access-denied message with no further effect. The steps below walk you through granting yourself operator status, verifying it with the mod’s built-in diagnostic command, and getting familiar with the two commands you will reach for most often when setting up an event.
Granting Operator Access
1
Join the server at least once
Log in to the Crystal Legacy server with the Minecraft account you intend to use for administration. The server must register your username in its player data before the
op command will resolve it correctly.2
Run the op command from the server console
Open the server console (or ask an existing operator to run the command in-game) and execute:Replace
<yourUsername> with your exact Minecraft username. The console prints a confirmation line such as Made <yourUsername> a server operator when the command succeeds.3
Disconnect and reconnect
Quit the game completely and rejoin the server. The reconnection flushes your client-side permission cache, ensures the server re-evaluates your operator level on login, and lets Crystal Legacy register your elevated status for all
/master permission checks. You are now a full admin.Only registered, non-OP players have their chat messages, inventory interactions, and item drops blocked by Crystal Legacy’s event lock. As an operator you are never subject to those restrictions, regardless of the current event state.
Your First Commands
Once you have operator access, run the diagnostic command immediately to confirm everything is working and to get a snapshot of the current event state./master info
Prints full debug information about the current state of the event — active phase, registered players, bracket status, and internal flags. Run this first after granting OP to verify your access is recognised by the mod.
/master estado ;state;
Advances the event to a new phase. Use this command to move through the tournament lifecycle — for example, opening registration, starting matches, or closing the event. See the Estado (Advance State) page for all valid state values and transition rules.
