The WAITING_PLAYERS state is the first phase players experience after the server opens its doors. Every player who connects sees a dedicated waiting screen that signals the event has not started yet. This phase is intentionally quiet — voice chat is automatically muted server-wide so players do not talk over each other on the lobby screen. Your job during this phase is simply to confirm that all 30 players have joined before advancing.
Entering WAITING_PLAYERS
Transition the server into the waiting lobby with:
Player Experience
When a player connects during this state they are immediately shown the waiting-for-players screen. They cannot interact with the event, cast spells, or hear other players through voice chat. The screen persists until you advance to the next phase.
Voice Chat Behavior
Crystal Legacy automatically manages the voicechat.speak permission during this phase:
- On entering WAITING_PLAYERS — voice chat is disabled for all connected players. No player can speak or hear others through Simple Voice Chat.
- On leaving WAITING_PLAYERS — voice chat is automatically re-enabled for all players as the server transitions into
TUTORIAL. You do not need to restore permissions manually.
Managing the Waiting Screen Per Player
You can show or hide the waiting screen for individual players or groups without changing the global state:
Replace ;player(s); with a player name or a comma-separated list of names.
Advancing to TUTORIAL
Once all 30 players are connected and you are ready to begin, advance to the next phase:
Before advancing, visually confirm all 30 players are listed in the server player list. The waiting screen remains visible to players until you run /master estado TUTORIAL, so you have as much time as you need to verify the roster.
